With a focus on academic excellence, Catholic faith and values, and access to new technology, Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Baltimore prepare students for a successful future.
The House System is a dynamic approach to student engagement and school culture.
How It Works:
Students, faculty, and staff are sorted into different "houses". Each house is like a family within the school community.
Points are awarded to individuals and houses based on values and achievements.
House Structure:
There are 8 houses, each with its unique saint name, color, and works of mercy. See the table below.
We will have school-wide House meetings each month.
Benefits of The House System
Community Building - Encourages strong relationships among students across different grades.
Promotes a sense of belonging and pride within their house.
Character Development - Instills our school’s values of Integrity, Inclusion, and Initiative.
Provides opportunities for students to earn points for positive behavior, academic achievements, and participation in school activities.
Healthy Competition - Houses compete throughout the year in various academic and extracurricular activities, earning points for their house.
The competition fosters motivation and excitement for school involvement.
Individual points are redeemed for items in the school store
Parents will be able to see their student's points via the app in real-time.
