Our Mission & Values

Mission Statement

School of the Incarnation provides a safe, academically challenging, inclusive, and innovative Catholic educational environment for students in PreK through Grade Eight. Dedicated administration, faculty and staff, in partnership with parents and pastors, provide opportunities for students to grow within our school, to contribute to the greater community, and to strive to become faith-filled future leaders.

Our Educational Philosophy

At School of the Incarnation, we achieve our mission through an educational philosophy rooted in faith, excellence, and a deep commitment to the whole person. We believe that a truly transformative education nurtures not just the mind, but the heart and soul as well. Our goal is to send our graduates into the world not only as academically prepared young men and women, but as people of integrity, initiative, and inclusion who are equipped and inspired to make a difference in the lives of others.

We achieve this mission by striving to:

  • Foster a faith-filled, inclusive learning community where every student feels known, valued, and supported.
  • Provide a well-rounded educational experience that gives our students access to a broad range of subjects, including the arts, athletics, physical education, and the humanities, alongside rigorous academic preparation.
  • Empower our students to become independent thinkers and learners by emphasizing curiosity, initiative, and reflective thinking.
  • Cultivate good stewards of our community by calling upon all members of our school to act with compassion, civic conscience, and a commitment to serving others.
  • Seek a healthy balance between the benefits of technology and the irreplaceable value of traditional, relationship centered learning.
  • Form young people of faith and character who carry the values of integrity, initiative, and inclusion with them wherever life takes them.

Our School Values

Three core values guide our days at School of the Incarnation.

They can be found in our classrooms, our hallways, and in the hearts of our students and faculty. Each day at morning prayer, we recite these values together as a reminder that as children of God, we are called to put love first in our actions, in our words, and in everything we do.

Integrity

Integrity is at the heart of everything we do at School of the Incarnation. We define integrity as the commitment to being true, to yourself, to others, and to God, even when no one is watching. It is the courage to do the right thing, not because it is easy or convenient, but because it is right.

Initiative

Initiative is the spark that turns intention into action. At School of the Incarnation, we define initiative as the willingness to step up, speak up, and take action, even when it would be easier to stand back and let someone else lead the way. It is about seeing a need and meeting it, recognizing an opportunity and seizing it, and having the courage to be the first one to raise a hand, offer a solution, or make a difference.

Inclusion

Inclusion is more than a policy or a practice; it is love for others in action. At School of the Incarnation, we define inclusion as the commitment to extending kind thoughts, kind words, and kind actions to every person we encounter, and to creating a community where everyone feels seen, valued, and welcome.

Prayer for School of the Incarnation

All praise to you, Lord our God
whose Word became flesh
and dwelt among us.

By water and the Holy Spirit
You have joined us to Jesus the Christ
and empower us to be the
Body of Christ in our World.

From our communities of faith
You have called us together
to share a common vision
for the School of the Incarnation.

Bless our efforts to build a school
to serve our children and our parishes.
Guide our planning by your wisdom.
Ennoble our actions by your grace.

May the work of our hands
and the desires of our hearts
bear witness to Jesus our Lord
who lives and reigns with
You and the Holy Spirit,
One God, now and for ever.
Amen
